- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes (if using). Whisk to create a fragrant sauce.
- Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch in a separate bowl until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken, spreading it out for even cooking. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat evenly. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add the drained noodles to the skillet with chicken and sauce, tossing gently to coat.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra nutrition, consider adding sliced bell peppers or broccoli. You can also marinate the chicken in the sauce for an hour prior to cooking to enhance flavors.
