Description

Fluffy pancakes with a campfire classic twist, featuring chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup or melted chocolate
  • 2 graham crackers, crushed
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Toasted marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add a little melted butter.
  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Stack the pancakes and layer mini marshmallows if desired.
  7. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers before serving.

Notes

For extra indulgence, top with whipped cream or toasted marshmallows.
