A delicious and decadent dish that combines shrimp and crab meat with creamy Alfredo sauce and rich cheeses, making it perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
- Lasagna Noodles: 12 sheets
- Crab Meat: 1 pound, lump
- Shrimp: 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Cheeses: 2 cups shredded mozzarella, 2 cups ricotta cheese, 1 cup grated Parmesan
- Cream: 1 cup heavy cream
- Sauce: 4 cups creamy Alfredo sauce
- Spices: 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Breadcrumb Topping: 1/2 cup
- Fresh Parsley: 2 sprigs, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, drain, and cool under cold water.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic, then add shrimp and cook until pink. Fold in crab meat, salt, pepper, and chili flakes, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of Parmesan, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Layer a small amount of Alfredo sauce in a 9×13 inch pan, then alternate layers of noodles, cheese mixture, seafood mixture, and more Alfredo, repeating for three layers.
- Top with remaining cheeses and breadcrumbs. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes more.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving, garnish with parsley.
Notes
For a more luxurious taste, use fresh seafood. Adjust cheeses according to preference for better stretchiness.
