Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup thick and chunky salsa
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Shredded lettuce, to taste
  • Diced tomato, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles, pressing them into a 9-inch square pan.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Add salsa and taco seasoning to the beef, stir, and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the crescent roll crust, and top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes before serving warm.
