- 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 6 large eggs
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 2 tablespoons milk

- 2 teaspoons butter
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 16 dill pickle slices
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion, optional
- 1/4 cup chopped chives or scallions, optional
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare Ranch Dip: Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Form Hash-Brown Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine thawed hash browns, eggs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until homogenous and slightly sticky.
- Fry Hash-Brown Patties: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Shape 1/4 cup of hash-brown mix into patties and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Cook Scrambled Eggs: Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet, add egg mixture, and gently scramble until just set and fluffy.
- Assemble Sliders: On a plate, layer a hash-brown patty, cheese slice, scrambled eggs, two pickle slices, optional red onion and chives, and top with another patty.
- Serve: Enjoy warm, alongside or drizzled with ranch dip. Add toppings as desired.
Notes
For added variety, try different cheese or additional toppings like bacon or bell peppers.
