Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, blend together the granulated sugar, eggs, whole milk, and vegetable oil for about 2 minutes until smooth.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Carefully stir in the boiling water.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
