- 2 cups Full-fat Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Custard Powder
- 2 cups Chopped Seasonal Fruits
- 1 pinch Cardamom Powder
- 1/4 cup Chopped Nuts
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on your countertop.
- In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of full-fat milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of custard powder with 2 tablespoons of cold milk to form a smooth paste.
- Add 1/2 cup of sugar to the warm milk and stir until dissolved.
- Gradually add the custard paste to the warm milk while whisking continuously.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in a pinch of cardamom powder.
- Transfer the custard to a bowl or individual cups and let it cool.
- Wash and chop seasonal fruits into bite-sized pieces.
- Assemble the dessert by layering fruits on top of the cooled custard or folding them in.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top before serving.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use organic whole milk and consider adding vanilla extract for extra warmth.
