Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of your choice of milk with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Whisk until smooth.
- Sprinkle in 1/4 cup of chia seeds and stir vigorously.
- Add 3 tablespoons of maple syrup and whisk until fully combined.
- Mix in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Stir before serving in bowls or parfait glasses.
Notes
Add a pinch of sea salt for enhanced flavor or mix in nut butter for a different twist. Toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, or granola can add extra flavor and texture.
